Our restaurant is normally reserved for guests staying at the Africa Wild Truck Eco Lodge & Camp. However, it is open to anyone wishing to enjoy our cuisine, provided that a reservation is made in advance.
Our chef uses ingredients grown in our own vegetable garden as well as produce sourced from local suppliers. We generally offer a set menu, allowing us to minimise food waste and make the most of fresh seasonal ingredients.
For this reason, advance booking is essential, and we kindly ask guests to inform us of any allergies, dietary requirements or food intolerances when making a reservation.
Meals are served with a selection of South African and Italian wines.
Our recipes range from traditional Malawian dishes to family recipes passed down through generations. We prepare sourdough bread and pizza, breadsticks, fruit tarts, fresh filled pasta and bronze-die pasta made in the Italian tradition.
